Chief Executive Officer, Board Member
Ram Krishnan was appointed CEO in September 2014, bringing more than 17 years of executive experience to the role. Prior to joining Buzztime, Ram served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at Active Network, where he directed his division’s strategy, operations and growth.
With a technical background and extensive product development and management expertise, Ram held several key leadership positions with GE and its affiliates earlier in his career, most recently serving as Global Vice President and General Manager of GE’s Radiology IT division. There he helped lead the transformation of their product platform, introduced new products and drove commercial execution globally.
In addition to the extensive management training and experience he gained at GE, Ram completed his MBA at the University of Chicago. He also holds a degree in systems engineering from the University of Virginia.
Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President
Allen Wolff was appointed by Buzztime’s Board of Directors as the company’s Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President in January 2016 and as our Chief Financial Officer in December 2014. Allen brings over 15 years of financial strategy experience to the role. Before he joined Buzztime, Allen served as the Chief Financial Strategist of PlumDiggity, a financial and marketing strategy firm that he co-founded. Prior to PlumDiggity, Allen served as a Director and CFO of 365 Retail Markets, a self-checkout point-of-sale technology company. Earlier, Allen held a leadership role at Crowdrise, an online fundraising platform co-founded by the actor Edward Norton, as well as CFO & COO posts at Retail Capital, a small business specialty finance company. In 2006 Allen co-founded PaySimple, a SaaS-based online payment solution that offers integrated invoicing and payment acceptance in one system. Allen’s past experience also includes owning a casual dining franchise restaurant for over 10 years.
Allen holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Maryland, R.H. Smith School of Business. When he’s not working, you can find Allen running or biking along the California coast.
