Coming in Early December 2009!
Coming in early December, you will be seeing some enhancements to your Buzztime system. A majority of these changes address issues that were brought to our attention by players and we hope that implementing them will provide an even better Buzztime experience!
Some of the changes you will see include:
- The ability for your players to add a Username/Password to their current PIN/Handle account on the Playmaker. As you may be aware, Buzztime has traditionally asked players to access their PlayersPlus account with a PIN and Handle. Now they can add a Username to their account right on the Playmaker - allowing them to log in with one set of information, no matter where they play.
- On-screen leaderboard improvements. Some players may have noticed that adding a Username to their account resulted in appearing as a visitor while at their homesite. While not affecting all sites, this upgrade will ensure all players are accurately represented on the leaderboards. Their loyalty to their favorite Buzztime location is important to them, so we wanted to make sure that we indicate that they are playing on - and scoring in - their home turf!
- Display name changes. Some players like to "switch it up" and choose new "display names" or "handles" on their accounts. We've done the work to make sure that a player's most recent display name appears during network gameplay, whether they have changed it on location or on the web.
- Player avatars will always display! Players have reported that their network avatars will sometimes fail to display when they log in to Buzztime. The fixes we have put in place will remedy this issue and players who build avatars will be able to enjoy them whenever they play!
We hope these changes improve your patrons' Buzztime experience, enticing them to come back to your location time and time again!

Buzztime Website Maintenance 1/25/10!
My.buzztime.com will be down on Monday 1/25/10 from 9am to 5pm PT for scheduled maintenance. When the site is back up you’ll notice a new look with additional features and benefits! Buzztime.com will also be down at this time for maintenance and enhancements to the Players site.

Buzztime is adding something new to the lineup!
Beginning the week of November 30th, we're introducing Fantasy Update - a product that runs on the Sports Network as a complement to our Fantasy Football product. Fantasy Update reflects the stats of all NFL football players, but highlights the players who are included in that week's Fantasy Football game.
Fantasy Update is an hour-long program that will be available as a selectable game only (with an option to select every hour!) at all sites that have access to Buzztime Sports and is available through the remainder of the NFL regular season (January 3, 2010).
