Direct Sales Executive

We are seeking an energetic person to join our Sales and Marketing Team as a Direct Sales Executive based in New York City, NY.
If you are looking for a sales job where you will work independently, identify and meet with key decision makers in the restaurant/bar/hospitality market, and aggressively meet sales numbers, then this is the job for you.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identifying leads in assigned territories, setting appointments, demonstrating value of NTNBT product(s), leading face-to-face client meetings and closing business. • Meeting and exceeding aggressive sales goals and overall performance objectives. This role will be measured by sales appointments, closing business and revenue generation. • Developing sales strategies prior to contacting designated markets, using a variety of visuals, including product demos, web-based applications and other sales aids. Must be able to formulate client solutions around how NTNBT products can be used to fill seats on off-nights, increase food and beverage sales, and stretch their entertainment dollars. • Handle an aggressive schedule of daily sales contacts. Must be able to schedule, organize, and prioritize work to meet both customer and company goals and objectives. • Identifying and targeting decision makers, coaches, gatekeepers and other customer buying roles in the venue to efficiently set up initial meetings with the appropriate people. • Encourages loyalty among established "referral partners" to ensure steady stream of customer referrals. • Focuses sales efforts by studying any competitors on a local basis. • Will be responsible to forecast and enter updated sales prospects, ability to close likelihood, and status on a daily basis using appropriate CRM tools like salesforce.com. • Grows level of customer satisfaction, maintains win/win business relationship, and ensures effective communication with all key buying influencers. • Acts as a customer expert to ensure that NTNBT team understands customer's objectives, needs, and that we can meet their needs in the long-term. • Recommends changes in product offerings and pricing by evaluating customer feedback and competitive developments.
THE BOTTOM LINE Show potential clients that our products help them to be more profitable. Most importantly, prove that you have shown it by getting them to sign on the dotted line.
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum BA/BS degree • 2-3 years of outside B2B sales experience preferably in media, beverage, foodservice or adjacent industry. • Knowledge of hospitality (bar and restaurant) industry • Experience achieving a quota with acceptable profitability
