Our Carlsbad headquarters is seeking a self-directed Manager Marketing Analytics, who thrives in a growing, collaborative professional environment. The Manager Marketing Analytics will have overall responsibility for providing key business intelligence for fact-based decision making across all business functions. This will require working closely with each business function to provide ongoing direction to grow top line revenue, increase sales, reduce customer churn, improve the player experience, and to make timely and well informed decisions. They must maintain sufficient presence and communication with team members to stay abreast of product changes or other events that may create new program opportunities or affect current program plans.
A major component of this role will be managing the Customer Relationship Management systems, primarily SalesForce.com. They must manage the workflow, recommend, and implement key improvements to the CRM systems. The Manager Marketing Analytics will also create and maintain a customer relationship management database. Another key responsibility of this position will be developing and implementing new reports and new tools to inform Marketing and Executive staff of customer behavior and predictive trending. They must also manage the gathering, synthesis and dissemination of information across the company through use of a Data Warehouse and other available tools. Additionally, they will continually provide management with summary analyses of both sales and churn by location, customer segment and product line. The Manager Marketing Analytics will also perform primary and secondary research to define and track customer profiles (Demographic, Psychographic, and Socio-Economic) while continually analyzing the data to achieve maximum customer growth. |

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in business or marketing. A minimum of 6 years professional experience in marketing, database marketing or customer base marketing is required. Knowledge and experience with CRM systems is required, SalesForce.com experience is a strong plus. Experience in high tech industry marketing, with very large customer base management experience a plus. Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) is a strong plus. Experience in developing, implementing and utilizing database management tools to manage the customer experience (MS Access, Brio, Cognos, Business Objects, etc.) is required. Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills must be excellent.
We are looking for candidates with very strong analytical skills. They should have a working knowledge of primary and secondary research methods. Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task is required. Applicants must also have the ability to present succinct analytical results in verbal and written form. The ideal candidate will have all listed skills and be a responsible risk taker with a focus on improving key business results. |
