Our Marketing Department is expanding and we are looking for a Senior Manager for Lead Generation. This position’s primary focus will be to drive Buzztime’s B2B lead generation strategy, execution and analysis. This role will develop effective lead strategy, identify list requirements, negotiate list procurement, create and manage compelling offers. They will be responsible for creating and launching each campaign, daily hands-on testing and tuning to increase lead generation quantity, managing metrics, maintaining lead quality and reducing cost per lead.
The Senior Marketing Manager will also be responsible for developing an effective on-line marketing component. They will develop a multi-channel online lead generation strategy (pay per click, email, etc) with defined targets for key metrics (from impressions to cost per lead). This role will design each campaign and oversee activities of additional direct marketing colleague(s) to ensure consistency of programs, design, and messaging. They will be responsible for the implementation of all aspects of email marketing including – creative development, campaign design, legal compliance and optimization testing. This role will collaborate with Buzztime’s web site development team to provide input and analysis to site SEO and SEM and PPC campaign data. They will also work with our Business Intelligence team to conduct market segmentation and analysis for new lead generation opportunities. The Senior Marketing Manager will continually prepare and present reports on the lead generation program’s effectiveness.
Additional responsibilities will include support of new product launches, creation of market-based newsletters, and integration with other business-to-consumer initiatives using online marketing methods. The Senior Marketing Manager will provide input into other online initiatives such as company blogs, player forums, and online game/content distribution strategies. Must be available to travel up to 15%. |

We are looking for candidates who have a Bachelors degree in Marketing with 5 years of direct hands-on experience managing online lead generation campaigns with heavy search engine marketing component. Two or more years of management experience leading and overseeing all aspects of B2B lead generation activities is required. Must have demonstrated ability to personally create and manage successful Google and Yahoo SEM campaigns. Candidates should have knowledge of the latest SEO, SEM, and email marketing industry information and trends, including legal/CAN-SPAM compliance issues. Should be able to identify proper landing pages, research/develop keywords and create titles and descriptions for SEM.
The ideal candidates will have excellent personal and project management skills and experience with creative development and print production. They should be strong communicators (written, verbal and interpersonal), with strong analytical and follow up skills. Candidates should be detail oriented and have experience managing internal team members and outside agencies/vendors. They should be able to think “outside the box” and offer new and creative alternatives. Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and CRM such as Salesforce.com is required. |
