We are seeking an energetic person to temporary help in our Customer Service Department as a Customer Support Coordinator for approximately 6 months. The Customer Support Coordinator serves as the company’s initial and primary point of contact for customers to determine customer “readiness” for deployment of new system installations, system upgrades, and other technical service events. This position works with customers, field marketing representatives, and service subcontractors to obtain required information and/or components & materials necessary for prompt and efficient installation. Specifically the Customer Support Coordinator will: • Makes outbound calls to customers identified as “Future Installations” to confirm a physical profile of the site, including; video distribution, connectivity, and building structure. Following up with customers as needed to identify any location changes, work in progress (remodel) or other challenges to efforts regarding installation or system upgrades. • Identifies issues onsite that would require additional work not covered within the scope of standard installation. • Establish specific costs associated with out-of-scope issues, and advise the customer of these costs. • Identify components to be shipped for deployment of installations and conversions, and communicate demand to required departments. • Cultivate and maintain a positive relationship with customer. Requirements/Skills: The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years general customer service experience with direct customer contact. Must have proficiency in PC applications including Excel, Word and Outlook. Additionally, candidates should have: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Problem solving skills and analytical abilities. • Knowledge of commercial master antenna system and/or home theater video distribution. • Working knowledge of hi-speed Internet connectivity (DSL, Cable, satellite). • Experience or knowledge in satellite-provided services and video industry. • Ability to cope in a fast-paced environment, requiring constant decision-making.
