Come join the team! We are seeking an energetic leader to join our Sales Team as a Division Vice President of Sales. This is a visible position within the company that will report to the EVP, Sales. The Division VP of Sales will provide strategic and tactical leadership to the organization's core sales (B2B), sales support and supervise the Division’s integrated, field based account management and sales forces. The successful candidate will work with the team to achieve the goals of maximizing subscription revenue and incremental revenue generation from new products and services. In this senior position, the DVP will work closely with senior management, the CEO, COO and CFO to develop future strategies for growing Division sales year over year and increasing retention which generates return on investment and increases Buzztime’s revenue. This role will develop revenue and retention targets in partnership with the finance and business intelligence groups on positioning, pricing and promotion of products and services. This leader will ensure that sales goals and forecasts are consistent with the organization’s long-range strategic objectives and most importantly accurate and realistic yet continually pushing the limits of the sales teams’ capability. The Division VP of Sales will drive lead generation campaigns (direct mail, web, mobile) and promotional activities for all markets in the Division. This leader will be responsible for training and development of all sales and account management resources in their assigned territory, and will generate a yearly succession plan for the team. RESPONSIBILITIES
THE BOTTOM LINE Ideal candidates for the Division Vice President of Sales will have excellent leadership skills with the proven ability to effectively direct virtual sales teams in order to maximize revenues and profits. They should be innovative and have in-depth knowledge of sales principles, processes and practices. A bachelor’s degree is required, MBA is preferred. A minimum of 10 years experience in key account sales, telesales, field sales, B2B marketing and account management is required. We are looking for a transformational leader who has a strong sense of urgency and is team oriented. The candidate should have excellent time management, communication, decision-making, human relations, presentation and organizational skills.
