PlayersPlus® FAQ
Players Plus Frequently Asked Questions
General Frequently Asked Questions
Q:What is the
PlayersPlus program?
A:Buzztime designed the PlayersPlus
program specifically to recognize the loyalty
of our most frequent users. People earn PlayersPlus Points - and status within the North
American Buzztime community - every time they
play games at our hospitality locations. And
our many prizes and special promotions are
reserved for PlayersPlus members only.
Q: How do I
register for PlayersPlus?
A:First, pick up a Playmaker and turn it
on. It will request a Name or PIN. Hit the
"Menu" key. Using the arrows in the Play Zone
on the Playmaker, scroll down to "PlayersPlus" and press "Enter." On the PlayersPlus
Menu, highlight "Join Player +" and press
"Enter." Type in all the requested information,
scrolling down as needed, until the form is
complete. When you're done, you'll see "Done!
Press Enter" at the bottom of the screen. Hit
"Enter," and you're part of PlayersPlus!
Q:What is the
three-letter PlayersPlus code for my
establishment?
A:The three-letter code is unique for
each bar or restaurant. It helps Buzztime to
differentiate between players with identical
PIN numbers. In this manner, a player with PIN
1111 at Bar A has a different account than
another player with PIN 1111 at Bar B. To find
out what your 3 letter code (Also known as Site
Alpha Code) go to the Site Finder
and enter the city or postal code your location is
in. Click on the name of your location. Your site location code
will be featured on the site details page.
Q:
How do I play at other establishments and
still earn PlayersPlus points?
A:By using your full PlayersPlus PIN
and your handle, you can play at any Buzztime
location. Because you are a traveling PlayersPlus member, the remote location will not keep
a record of your account and will therefore
display 0 points for the day. However, your
point totals will appear at your home
establishment. PlayersPlus points awarded to
a member playing at a location other than his
or her registered site will be updated over a
six-week period at the player's home
location.
Q: Why do I
have to enter my handle when I'm playing at a
remote location?
A:When you are playing at your home
establishment, the computer recognizes your
handle because your PlayersPlus account is
stored in that location's system - that is why
you only need to enter a portion of your PIN
when playing at your home location. When
playing at a location other than your home, you
must enter your full PIN and handle. You should
enter the handle that appears on your file to
ensure you receive the points earned. In
essence, you are entering a temporary file.
That PIN is then called into our database and
matched up with its primary account.
Q: I only use 4
numbers to sign in when I play but the website
wants 7. Why isn't my pin working?
A:Your full pin is a combination of two
things. The 4 digits you use to log on to a
Playmaker and your site's 3-letter location
code (i.e. 1234ABC). You must enter the full 7
digits to log in to the website or a location
other than your home location. If you do not
know your home site's location code (Also known
as the Site Alpha Code) go to the Site Finder
and enter the city or postal code your location is
in. Click on the name of your location. Your site location code
will be featured on the site details page.
Q: How do I
transfer my PlayersPlus account to another
location?
A:If you haven't created a new
PlayersPlus account at the new site, use
the transfer
page to change your home site PIN, or Handle.
Your PlayersPlus PIN may be in use at
the new location - if it is already in use,
you'll have to select another PIN. Your new PIN should
start working within a few minutes.
If you have already created a new
PlayersPlus account and you'd like to merge
your points,
let us know.
Q: Why
haven't my PlayersPlus travel points
updated?
A:PlayersPlus points awarded to
members playing at a location other than their
registered site will be updated over a six-week
period at their initial registration
location.
Q: Will I be
able to see my point total at a remote
location?
A:No. Your point totals only appear at
your home establishment.
Q: What do the
different colored Icons on the ranking and
scoreboard screens mean?
A: These symbols shows the PlayersPlus
membership status of each person. As you earn
more PlayersPlus points, your symbol will
change according to the chart below.

Q: What if I
have two PlayersPlus accounts?
A: Each member is allowed one PlayersPlus account. Duplicate accounts will render a
member ineligible for prizes awarded over the
Network. Duplicate accounts may be deleted
without notice to the member.
Q: How can I
change the address on my PlayersPlus
account?
A: To change your personal information
for your PlayersPlus account, simply log on
to your account and click on the "Edit Profile"
button. Change the appropriate fields and then
click on the "submit" button.
Q: How do I
change the handle on my PlayersPlus
account?
A:Use the
transfer
page to change your Handle.
Q:
How do I contact a PlayersPlus
representative?
A: Contact us here, or
write us at NTN Buzztime, Inc., Attn:
PlayersPlus, 5966 La Place Court, Suite 100,
Carlsbad, CA 92008-8830. It is very important
that when contacting PlayersPlus you provide
your full name, PlayersPlus pin number,

will make it easier to answer your question as
quickly as possible.
Q: My pin still doesn't work and I am
entering all 7 digits (i.e. 1234ABC)
A: It is possible that you are using the
wrong location code (Also known as the Site
Alpha Code). To ensure you are using the right
location code please go to the Site Finder
and enter the city or postal code your location is
in. Click on the name of your location. Your site location code
will be featured on the site details page.
Q: I have moved and would like to change
my home location and keep my points. How can I
do this?
A: First you will need to register as a
member at your new establishment. Once you have
created the new account, contact us and we
can transfer your old PlayersPlus account
into your new account. Please wait 3 to 4
business days before contacting us with your
old PlayersPlus pin number, new PlayersPlus
pin number, full name, and handle(s).
Q: I heard it is against the rules to
have more than one PlayersPlus account. Is
that true?
A: You are only eligible to win prizes
with one account. There is no benefit to having
multiple accounts. By using your full 7 digit
pin (i.e. 1234ABC) you can log in at any
location throughout the Buzztime Network so it
is unnecessary to have more than one account.
If you currently have more than one account and
would like to consolidate your points into one
account please contact us and
let us know. Duplicate accounts may be deleted
without notice to the member.
Q: I would like to contact PlayersPlus.

you provide your full

name, city and state of the establishment at
which you became a PlayersPlus member. By
providing this information it will make it
easier to answer your question as quickly as
possible.
