Default Spotlight 10/30- Now that's more like it
After coming in 3rd in STC on Mon. at East Side Mario's, 3rd in Spotlight(but winning our Sandbag Invitational matchup to adv. to the final) Tues. at Danny K's, a heartbreaking 6th and losing the SIX tourney final(a week after finishing 1st in what was SUPPOSED to be the final) Wed. at Shannon's, the core of the SoCal Travelling BT All-Stars and Motor Kings(MR ALE/ROONEY, YOTCHO/TIMMAY, JOHN, and myself) joined our usual Friday gang at Mr. B's and just plain kicked some ass . . it was fun . . after noting the (unsurprising, really) trend toward horror in the game content, was hoping for more 80's slasher material, but still was able to make several contributions . . a well-deserved game ball(er, box) went to Tim our bartender for nailing(well, pretty much; we went with his 5-call for the most part) the final . . .

Yes, thanks for not showing up Bob... even though your intrinsic 5,000 point liability wouldn't have cost us last night. Seriously though, your absence was more than compensated by Timmy and FRSTYL. What knowledge we lost in Canadian geography and hardwood minutiae, we seemed to gain in Dean Stockwell's filmography and Saw (non)actors.

Yes, you guys cleaned house. Well done.

We would have been third, had the final narrowed down to two and picked the wrong one, but got lucky that it was eliminated first.

I just want to brag a little that JOO and I beat you guys in Topix! Him getting the only perfect in the country was cool enough, but seeing us one spot ahead of Mr. B's sure felt good too.
