QB1 Strategy
There are three strategic aids in QB1 that, when used effectively, will increase your score and improve your chances of winning. These are CONSECUTIVE CALLS, BONUS POINTS and the GAMEBREAKER function. CONSECUTIVE CALL Each time you make a completely correct Play-Call, it counts as a CONSECUTIVE CALL. The number of CONSECUTIVE CALLS accumulates until you make an incorrect call. With each CONSECUTIVE CALL, BONUS POINTS get added to your BONUS POOL. BONUS POINTS If your number of CONSECUTIVE CALLS is two or more, your BONUS POINTS get added into your score. The more your BONUS POOL grows, the more valuable it becomes. An incorrect call wipes it out. Building and protecting a BONUS POOL helps immensely in racking up your game score. GAME BREAKER Another special feature of QB1 is the GAMEBREAKER button. Using the GAMEBREAKER will double the score value of your Play-Call, be it correct or incorrect. For example, 100 points will become 200, -10 becomes -20. It also doubles any BONUS POOL or PERFORMANCE POINTS (first down and touchdown bonuses) that you were awarded on the play. You get one opportunity per series of downs to use a GAMEBREAKER. Your GAMEBREAKER is renewed every first down; but once you use it, it is not available again until the next first down. The player scoreboard shows when BONUS POINTS, GAMEBREAKER or PERFORMANCE POINTS have been added into a player's score. |
