HOW TO PLAY IN YOUR LOCAL BAR / RESTAURANT:
- Grab a Playmaker® or the Mobile Playmaker app for your iPhone/iPod touch or Android
- Follow the prompts to log in, register or play as a guest
- Choose Sports IQ from the menu on the Playmaker
- Sports IQ is played in five rounds:
- Coin Toss: You've got 50/50 odds on these! On each of the 10 questions, choose between the two answers before the coin hits the ground.
- Pro Files: An obscured photo will slowly come into focus. Identify the athlete early to help you choose the right answer and the faster you choose, the more points you get! Then there's the "And one"... another question on the same person. Three photos, six questions.
- Box Score: No multiple choice on these 10 questions; you've got to prove you know it by spelling it out. You'll see each character of the answer represented by a box. Your goal is to fill in the proper letters of the two highlighted boxes. Other letters will start to appear as time progresses, which will help you figure it out but also decreases the point value.
- Overtime: Name that year! Each of the eight questions will list four famous sporting events, one at a time. You tell us what year the event took place by entering the last digit of the year (i.e. "76" for 1976). You can change your answer any time, but the faster you choose the correct answer, the more points you get.
- Match Point: Match up what's listed on the right column to what's on the left. The more matches you make, the bigger the payoff! And we'll throw in a point bonus for a perfect question. Five questions means five chances to sweep a series.
- Your scores will be rankedagainst other players acrossthe network, so check to see how you did at the end of the game on our leaderboard!
