Q: How do I join a group for my favorite team?
A: You can join your favorite pro football team's group right here on Buzztime.com and get in the action early, share it with friends and really support for your team. You can also cruise over to your favorite Buzztime restaurant or bar location and join your favorite pro football team's group from the Playmaker or Mobile Playmaker during the game.
Q: I am not much of a football trivia enthusiast but huge fan of my favorite pro football team, where do I fit in?
A: The Season is for FANS. Being a fan doesn't mean you have to know every player, every season, every record. A fan knows the history, the fun, the local stuff that makes being a fan, well fantastic.
Q: How do you figure out who won the match-up?
A: Buzztime takes an average of the participating players for each team and compares your team's average against your opponent's average. So if you have 10 fans for your team or 10,000 you can still compete week after week against big groups or little groups. The goal is to play hard, play smart, play often and head for a touchdown.
Q: Since the score is based on averages, won't I hurt my team if I show up late?
A: No. Scores are calculated on a quarterly basis during the game, so feel free to join the game at any time.
Q: My favorite pro footbal team has a bye week, can I still play?
A: In The Season, team's do not have a bye week. We've matched you up against other pro football teams, so you never miss out on the action! However, The Season will have a bye week during the holidays. There will not be a The Season game on December 29th, 2012.
Q: What happens after the 16 weeks of the regular season, if my team is eliminated?
A: As we head into playoffs, if your team has been eliminated it's time to jump on the bandwagon and find a new pro football team. If your team is eliminated again, you can jump on a new bandwagon and you keep riding the wave of excitement right up to the championship.
Q: Do I get PlayersPlus points for playing?
A: Yes! Players get 1500 PlayersPlus points for participating and 1500 bonus PlayersPlus points for scoring over 20,000 in the game.
Q: Can I play from home or on Facebook?
A: This is one of those great experiences to share at your favorite Buzztime location. Find a Buzztime restaurant or bar location near you.
Q: Can I use the Mobile Playmaker to join in the fun?
A: The Mobile Playmaker for iOS (iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad) and Android is a great way to experience the fun of The Season. You can choose your team right from the Mobile Playmaker. Just log in, find your location, join "The Season" game and select your team! Now it's time to play and dominate.
