COO to Co-Present Session on Using Technology to Drive Customer Engagement
Las Vegas, NV (March 26, 2015) – NTN Buzztime, Inc. (NYSE MKT: NTN), the world’s leading social gaming and entertainment provider for bars and restaurants, today announced it will offer attendees at the 2015 Nightclub & Bar Show an opportunity to take Buzztime’s new BEOND tablet-based entertainment offerings for a test-drive inside a simulated bar environment during the 30th Annual NCB Show, set for March 30-April 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
In booth #729, Buzztime will highlight new games that expand the company’s tablet-based offering in trivia and predictive sports—two categories Buzztime has pioneered over the last 30 years of delivering entertainment that drives sales in bars and restaurants by exciting and engaging consumers, attracting new guests and fostering greater patron loyalty.
The new Jackpot Trivia™ game infuses traditional bar trivia with popular game show and interactive social gaming elements. Jackpot Trivia presents players with thousands of questions from modern trivia categories. The selection includes a pop culture set ranging from Beyoncé to Big Bang Theory, sports topics such as NASCAR, and geek culture subjects that include Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, Star Wars and video games. With its inviting modern approach to trivia for everyone, not just know-it-alls, this latest generation of trivia broadens the audience for bar owners.
In addition, Buzztime will host the first public preview of the company’s revolutionary new predictive sports game for bars and restaurants. The new game builds on the legacy of QB1, Buzztime’s pioneering offering in the category that was first played in 1984 during Super Bowl XVIII and has been produced every NFL season since to tremendous acclaim among football fans. The modern version, which combines next-generation predictive, strategy and fantasy aspects, will debut later this year as the ultimate multi-sport experience to complement live televised events and engage sports fans on premise.
“Buzztime has long been at the forefront of bar-based entertainment technology and our tablet-based system expands on that leadership experience by keeping the entertainment fresh and engaging to help bar owners draw traffic.” Cooney said. “During NCB, in addition to our new games, attendees can get a sneak peek at how we are leveraging our unique history of building immersive interactive games to transform patrons dining experiences with interactive menus and pay at the table capability built into our new BEOND tablets.”
As part of the Buzztime’s comprehensive presence at the show, Buzztime’s COO and out-of-home entertainment expert Bob Cooney will also present a session on “Maximizing Revenue Through Strategic Use of Technology,” alongside Gary Huether, Jr., president and co-founder of American’s Next Top Restaurant Franchise Winner Arooga’s Grille House & Sports Bar.
During the session at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 30th, Cooney and Huether will demonstrate how social entertainment and gaming technology like Buzztime BEOND improves brand-building, enhances customer engagement and drives repeat business at Arooga’s and other venues of all sizes around the country.
The session will be videotaped by NCB Show organizers, for future viewing and use in educational materials.
During the session, Cooney and Huether will cover all aspects of modern technology in the bar space, including best practices for implementation, as well as advantages like ordering and payment speed and accuracy, as well as product marketing and up-sell opportunities. The session will highlight how interactive technology creates an exciting, vibrant experience that drives increased drink sales, improves customer satisfaction and encourages patrons to become repeat customers and invite their friends.
NCB Show attendees are invited to stop by the Buzztime Booth (#729) anytime during the event to experience Buzztime BEOND technology themselves. To learn more about Buzztime, visit https://www.buzztime.com or follow us on Facebook or Twitter @buzztime.
